Essay Workshop $500

The start of senior year comes fast and the first few months of school are usually very busy. The number one thing students say to us is that they wish they had started earlier! The College Essay Seminar is a great way for rising seniors to get a head start on their personal statement, often the most stressful part of the college application process. The goal of the College Essay Seminar is for students to have a solid first draft of their common application personal statement. This seminar includes:

• group format with each seminar capped at 5 students

• 3 hours a day for 3 days in-person only

• brainstorming activities

• general discussion about “what colleges are looking for in a personal statement”

• breakout sessions for independent work

• individual review of essays to maintain student privacy

• (1) 30 minute virtual follow up session within 30 days
